Our Process

Step 1: Booking & Route Placement

Once you sign up with Helpful Guys Snow Removal, your property is placed on an active service route. All services are performed in alignment with City of Edmonton snow and ice bylaws.

Step 2: Snowfall Tracking (1 cm Trigger)

We continuously monitor weather conditions. When snowfall reaches 1 cm or more, properties are flagged for service and scheduled accordingly.

Step 3: Storm Monitoring & Dispatch


Our team actively monitors snowfall and weather conditions. When accumulation reaches 1 cm or more, crews are dispatched based on route priority and safe access, ensuring efficient and compliant service across all properties.

Step 4: Dispatch Within Bylaw Window

Crews are dispatched to service properties within 24 hours, during bylaw enforcement hours (7:00 AM – 10:00 PM), provided road and site conditions are reasonably safe.

Step 5: Service Execution

Snow is cleared using professional equipment and materials to restore safe access to sidewalks, walkways, driveways, and entrances. Our goal is safety and compliance, not cosmetic perfection during active storms.

Step 6: Delays & Exceptional Conditions

During heavy snowfall, freezing rain, unsafe road conditions, or continuous storm events, service times may be extended. In these situations, properties remain prioritized and serviced as soon as conditions allow.
