The Services shall be provided within twenty-four (24) bylaw hours following any snowfall with an accumulation of one centimetre (1 cm) or greater, as measured in accordance with applicable municipal standards. Service timelines are estimates only and may be affected by road conditions, weather severity, snowfall volume, equipment availability, access limitations, or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Helpful Guys Snow Removal Services.

Seasonal service includes unlimited service visits during the service period for qualifying snowfall events only. For certainty, “snow removal” means the clearing of freshly fallen snow deposited during a snowfall event and does not include ice management or removal of compacted or frozen material. For evidentiary, quality assurance, and dispute resolution purposes, service crews capture before-and-after photographs, which are date- and time-stamped and retained as business records.

One-Time Snow Clearing Services

One-time snow clearing services are performed within twenty-four (24) to forty-eight (48) bylaw hours from the time the order is successfully submitted, and payment is received, subject to road and weather conditions.All one-time snow clearing services are based on a maximum two (2) hour service allowance. Any additional time required shall be billed as an additional charge, calculated at the then-current service rate.One-time snow clearing applies only to fresh snow. Snow clearing expressly excludes:ice managementremoval of compacted snowremoval of heavily packed, frozen, or bonded iceWhere ice management is required, the customer must separately retain Ice Management Services, which are offered independently and listed on our website.

Scope of Services

Unless otherwise agreed to in writing, the Services are strictly limited to the following areas:

• Front steps

• Front sidewalk

• Municipal sidewalk portion

• Driveway pad

• Where the driveway pad is located at the rear of the property, the sidewalk leading to the driveway is included.

Any services requested outside the selected package must be approved in advance in writing by emailing customer.relations2000@gmail.com or by text to 780-885-3184, are subject to availability, and may result in additional charges.

Ice Melt Disclaimer

Helpful Guys Snow Removal Services does not supply ice melt products due to the potential for damage to concrete, surfaces, and landscaping.Customers are solely responsible for supplying any ice melt products. If customer-supplied ice melt is left accessible on the front step, application will be performed without warranty, at the customer’s risk, and at no additional charge.

Service Agreement – Binding Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between the customer and Helpful Guys Snow Removal Services.

1. Acceptance

Submission of an online order constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and confirms that the customer reviewed and agreed to them prior to payment.

2. Payment

All services are paid in full in advance by credit card in accordance with applicable card-processing regulations.

3. Cancellation and Chargebacks

Cancellations must be requested within ten (10) calendar days of order completion. Upon cancellation, the customer agrees that the following amounts represent reasonable and genuine pre-estimates of administrative, scheduling, and business costs:

Fifty percent (50%) of the total seasonal amount and/or total charged amount

A ten percent (10%) administration fee

Applicable GST

Any chargeback initiated without first contacting Helpful Guys Snow Removal Services will be formally disputed. Where a chargeback results in administrative work, documentation preparation, or third-party processing fees, the customer agrees to pay a $500 administrative and recovery fee, reflecting actual costs incurred.

4. Authority

The individual accepting this agreement represents and warrants that they are at least eighteen (18) years of age and have full legal authority to bind the customer.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Alberta law, Helpful Guys Snow Removal Services, its contractors, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or accident arising from or related to the Services. Nothing in this agreement limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

6. Service Concerns and Reviews

Service concerns must be reported directly to Helpful Guys Snow Removal Services and allow a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remedy the issue. Public statements or reviews must be truthful and factual. Knowingly false, misleading, or defamatory statements causing reputational or financial harm may result in legal action, including recovery of damages, costs, and legal fees.

7. Corporate Disclaimer

Helpful Guys Snow Removal Services is managed by L.C.M. Services, which is the name appearing on credit card statements.

L.C.M. Services provides administrative and management services only and assumes no operational or legal liability for services rendered.

8. Severability

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada. The parties irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Provincial Court of Alberta (Civil Division) and the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta.

9. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior discussions, representations, or understandings. liability for Helpful Guys Snow Removal Services.
